'Dancing Queens' - A Midsumma Night's Dream

Midsumma is Australia’s premier queer arts and cultural festival, bringing together a diverse mix of LGBTQIA+ artists, performers, communities and audiences. Since relocating from her home of Sydney to Melbourne in the new year, Marisa had the honour of being invited to showcase a new body of work for Midsumma’s Give Me Life Party held at SoHigh Gallery, Prahran.

Marisa’s series titled, ‘Dancing Queens’ was about embodying the spirit and power of all the queens present within the LGBTQIA community. The evening was nothing short of a Midsumma night’s dream.
